Red Sox World Series Trophy Damaged by Beer Can During Parade
Why does one idiot always spoil it for the rest of us?
I'm talking about the moron who appeared to show his displeasure of the Boston Red Sox winning the World Series by heaving an unopened beer can during the Red Sox duck boat parade. According to WBZ in Boston, several cans of beer were thrown at Red Sox players during the parade.
Mookie Betts was nearly clobbered as the parade made its way through Copley Square. One of the alleged halfwits arrested was 19-year-old Patrick Connolly, who was charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon. One of the full cans of beer apparently hit and slightly damaged the World Series trophy. Check it out.
NBC Connecticut reported that several fans were tossing beers to Red Sox players as they passed by during the duck boat parade. Hundreds of thousands skipped work and school to help Boston celebrate their 2018 World Series victory.
