A Rare Opportunity is Coming Up For Diehard UConn Basketball Fans

Hey Husky fans, a rare opportunity to watch both of your favorite college basketball teams in the same arena, on the same day, has just been announced.

It's easy to be a fan of two of the best college basketball teams in the world, but are you a diehard fan that can't get enough Hurley/Auriemma? Are you willing to sit through not one, but two exhibition games? Your chance is coming this October to Mohegan Sun Arena.

The University of Connecticut has just announced that UConn's men's and women's basketball teams will play Boston College's men's and women's basketball teams in a split doubleheader on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville as part of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Exhibition Game festivities. UConn men's & women's season ticket holders will have first dibs on tickets during a priority pre-sale, with regular ticket sale, tip-off times, and broadcast information being announced in the near future.

Hartford's XL Center, the usual location for marquee matchups for both UConn basketball teams has just temporarily closed down for the summer of 25 as it undergoes a multi-million-dollar renovation, it's slated to be completed by the time the regular seasons kick in for both teams.

Just a few weeks prior to the UConn double header, Mohegan Sun will host some of the Class of 2025 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Induction festivities on September 5, including an autograph session, enshrinement tip-off celebration and gala, and the official press conference.
