Passionate Boston ‘Donut Lover’ Flies Family to Connecticut Just For Krispy Kreme
Where I am from, the most popular donuts, meaning the most readily available was something called 'Daylight Donuts', but I darn sure wouldn't catch a flight to go and get some. Apparently, someone in Boston did just that when he wanted the sweet taste of his favorite donut in the world, he let nothing stop him.

From an NBC 10 Boston report, Chase, who also goes by the moniker of 'Donut Lover' proclaims Krispy Kreme to be his favorite despite the fact they have been gone from the northeast for about a decade. No Krispy Kreme locations exist in Massachusetts, Vermont, or New Hampshire, according to an article in the Suffolk Daily Voice. This lover of donuts, however, was not to be denied. He had a hankering, and the only way to satisfy that hankering was to stuff the fam into his small plane and fly across state lines to New London County in Connecticut.
The nearest Krispy Kreme location to him was in Uncasville, an area that features the Mohegan Sun Casinos, which is where this franchise was located inside. He could have driven the distance, it was only a 75 mile trip, but decided he needed to fire up the plane, grab the family, and fly the friendly skies. It is reported the trip cost him about $500, but he was okay with that and, at posting time, he still had about 51 donuts in some sort of storage to hold him and his family over till the urge returns I guess.
It made me think if I had the capacity to do this sort of activity, would I do it? The short answer is yes, but it would NOT be for donuts, more like a trip to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play, but that is another story. Thanks for hanging out with me again kids and I will see you again real soon.
