Everyone loves a parade and the largest and longest Labor Day parade in Connecticut steps off at 10 am on Monday, Sept 3 in Newtown.

Every year, Newtown's Annual Labor Day Parade is the grandest parade in the state of Connecticut and this year is no exception. Many roads will be shut down and shuttle buses will be available from 8 am until 9:30 am from St. Rose School and Hawley Elementary School.

On Thursday, August 30, Lou and I had the pleasure of speaking with the parade committee President, Nick Kopcik on I-95's Ethan and Lou Morning Show who gave us the rundown about this outstanding three-hour spectacle.

Newtown's grand parade includes marching bands, fire trucks, clowns, amazing parade floats, bagpipers, and musical acts.
