Newtown Man Charged With Alleged Indecent Exposure and More
It's the age old question of what exactly is it that prompts people to do the awful things they do. Makes your skin crawl, doesn't it?
Sir, you can not sit there casually with your man bits hanging out and not think people won't snap pictures. Although, part of that might just be the motivation for the public exposure in a persons mind. People should be able to enjoy a family day at the beach without this happening. So here's how this story played out:
The Fairfield Police Department initially put this release out looking for the public's help in identifying the person in question. The photos and information released in September did lead to tips and thankfully, an arrest was made.
The following information comes from a press release from the Fairfield Police Department:
On October 24, 2017, William J. Connelly 01-19-56, of Newtown CT, turned himself in to the Fairfield Police Department on charges from three separate incidents of Public Indecency. Connelly was charged with one count of Risk of Injury to a Minor, 53-21, three counts of Breach of Peace 2nd Degree, 53a-181, and three counts of Public Indecency, 53a-186. He was released on a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on November 7th, 2017.
Hopefully this man finally gets the help he apparently needs. According to the release from fpdct.com, Connelly had several previous incidents in other towns involving public indecency.
