Back when I started playing segments from the "Kroll Show" on the Ethan and Lou show people would call and tell me how weird they were. Well Nick Kroll and John Mulaney are on Broadway, so who is weird now?

The "Kroll Show" had a short run on Comedy Central but it should have been around longer because it was brilliant. Then you have John Mulaney whose stand up comedy specials were so popular and funny that he landed a sitcom on FOX which unfortunately was terrible.

Then awhile ago I read that the characters of Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland from "Too Much Tuna" were headed to Broadway. I couldn't believe it and I loved the segment so much I almost wanted to purchase tickets for the show and head to the city. Then Netflix filmed it and put it in their rotation and saved me a lot of money and a trip to the city.

I saw it the other day and I was pleasantly surprised. It's really funny, really smart and features a cameo by Steve Martin himself. If you like comedy, theater, acting or obscure NYC humor you will love this. Chef recommends. If you are wondering what the hell I am talking about this is where the characters first appeared to a wide audience.

Here is a preview of the Netflix filmed Broadway show.
