Do you cry when an animal dies on tv? Say the words 'Old Yeller' to your grandparents and see if they get sad. I cannot understand it, and I despise those who harm animals. I want to help.
The Naugatuck Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the owner of the maroon sedan you see in the photo above, and the owner of a black vehicle not pictured above that may have witnessed the cruel act. According to the Naugatuck Police Department, on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 9:45AM, NPD received reports that there were two kittens lying in the middle of Rt. 63/Straits Turnpike/N. Church Street, in the vicinity of the dam at Hop Brook. Responding officers found the kittens deceased, both were estimated to be 4-5 months old, on the roadway.
Witnesses reported seeing an older, white-haired female operating the maroon sedan, and reported that they witnessed the suspect throw the kittens out of the driver's side door onto the roadway.
