Music, Food, and Inflatables Headline the Bethel Family Fest
This Saturday afternoon there's an event that's tailor-made for both kids and grownups at the Danbury Sports Dome.
On Saturday, May 5 from 12-4pm, I am personally inviting you to come join me, Ethan Carey and my singer/songwriter son, Ethan James along with the I-95 Road Crew for the Bethel Family Fest at the Danbury Sports Dome at 25 Shelter Rock Lane in Danbury.
Why should you be there? It's going to be a great time where you can look forward to an afternoon of music, food trucks, games, touch-a-truck, local vendor shopping, inflatables(does this mean there's going to be a bouncy house?) and most importantly, a chance for you to help raise money to benefit 'Hero Project' and 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors.'
'HERO' is short for Heroin Education to Resist Opiates which is an awareness project to educate family and friends on the signs of heroin and opiate use. This amazing organization needs help raising funds to help facilitate treatment for addicts who don't have anywhere to turn.
'Neighbors Helping Neighbors' is an important organization that raises funds for Bethel residents who are in need of assistance with any outdoor painting and/or exterior home repair projects.
My son, Ethan James, who used to be addicted to opiates, has now been in recovery for 7 years. How did he do it? Stop down this Saturday and ask him directly. Ethan and I will be at the Bethel Family Fest from noon until 2pm. For directions to the Danbury Sports Dome click this link.
