High Demand Prompts Extra Rush Shows In Connecticut
Just when you thought you missed out on one last chance to see the Gods of Rock, their schedules seem to have opened up for not only one, but two shows next year in Connecticut.

Most of the world was under the impression that we saw Rush perform live for the last time around a decade ago in 2015-16. Shortly after wrapping up their 40th anniversary tour, the first hints of trouble arose when Neal Peart announced his retirement from the band, and then define the split as 'Just an extended break'. Unfortunately, Peart passed away in January of 2020. Five and a half years later, and with a new powerhouse drummer, Rush is headed back on the road to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
The initial round of shows that Rush announced last week for their upcoming tour were in major US cities: NYC, LA, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Chicago, Cleveland, and Toronto. Well the ticket sales must have been incredible, because a slew of additional dates were announced earlier this week including a show at Mohegan Sun Arena. Rush will officially return to Connecticut to play one show on Friday, October 30, 2026, and Mohegan Sun has just announced that a second date has been added at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday, November 1.
Tickets for both shows are going to go up for sale through a special artist presale sign up on Monday, October 27 at noon at ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices have not been announced, but the cheapest seats for Rush's Madison Square Garden show on July 28, 2026 are $362 on Stubhub.com. Good luck.
