The body of a man who was reported missing last night (June 19) has been found in Farrington Woods park in Danbury right on the CT/NY border.

According to the News Times, the man is believed to be around 50-years-old and visited the park frequently, as he enjoyed mountain biking as a hobby. The report says that over a dozen members of the search team scoured the heavily wooded park for six hours between 10:30 PM and 4:30 AM, but were unsuccessful because of last night's terrible weather.

When the weather cleared, the search continued, and the man was found at 11:30 AM today (June 20) in a very think section of woods about 3/4 of a mile into the park.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased mountain biker, but will do so when the investigation is complete. Right now, the man's passing seems to be accidental since there are no obvious injuries on his body and no damage to his bicycle.

We will continue to update this story as we receive more information.
