Hello pierogi fans of Connecticut, I just got some great news - The best pierogi that I've ever had in my life is available right here in Connecticut once again.

In November 2021, I learned that Krupa Bros Pierogi Company was leaving Ray's Place in Oakville and moving their operation to Kingston, New York. Their delicious pierogi disappeared from all 4 LaBonne's Markets here in Connecticut shortly thereafter. Well, I just spoke to the 'Pierogi Master' Kyle Krupa - Their incredible product is for sale again right here in Connecticut.

Krupa Bros Pierogi Company is located on Strand Street in Kingston, NY, but as of today or tomorrow, you can purchase their handmade pierogi once again close to home. Kyle just hit me and let me know that a shipment is on it's way at this very moment to Southbury's The Local Gourmet on Main St. S.

If you don't know the Krupa Brothers, let me fill you in a little - Kyle and Tyler Krupa learned the art of making pierogi from their grandmother, and honed their craft for years making pierogi in the greater Waterbury area. First out of ziplock bags at JP's Deli on Huntington Ave in the Brass, then out of Ray's Place in Oakville (RIP, great sandwiches), before taking the leap into their own storefront in Kingston, NY.
