Danbury Metro-North trains will not be in service this weekend.

Because Metro-North needs to make some upgrades, Danbury rail service will be suspended on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2 and 3. According to thehour.com, Metro-North needs to install ties, surface track, weld rail joints, and rectify mud spots.

Not to worry though because bus service will be offered in place of the trains this Saturday and Sunday. Please note that buses will operate as much as 20 minutes earlier than scheduled trains.

Bus service will run from Danbury to South Norwalk. For specific bus schedules, click on web.mta.info/mnr and you will see the bus schedules in yellow.
