This means you're going to be able to save a ton of money at some of Danbury's finest restaurants. Danbury Mayor Dean Esposito joined the I-95 Morning Show on Thursday (2/23/23) to alert the Hat City, this is what he had to say:

"It's February 27th through March 5th and there are some sweetheart deals out there. There is a whole list of restaurants on here, at least 20 that are giving special deals throughout that week. I encourage the listeners to go out and take advantage of this, it's a great opportunity to get some really good food and see what Danbury offers."

The Mayor emphasized that the project could not have come together without the hard work of Economic Development Director Shay Nagersheth. Esposito also recalled a chance meeting at Dolce Restaurant and Wine Bar in Danbury.

I've had the great pleasure of eating at almost all of the participating restaurants and there is not a bad one on the list. I can also tell you from experience that the Mayor is dead-on. These deals are so good, they may be unfair to the restaurants.

Here are a few examples:

One highlight of our interview was a mustache moment. The Mayor was telling us about a recent trip down south that was "hairy."
