According to a press release from the DPD, the investigation began on March 23rd (2022) when authorities received a complaint from the Department of Children and Families. The complaint stated that Jones was engaged in an illegal sexual relationship with the unnamed minor. That complaint prompted a thorough investigation led by Detective Basile.

The Danbury Police Department was granted a warrant from a Danbury Superior Court Judge. With warrant in hand, Basile and his team located Krystal Jones on Tuesday at the Quality Inn on Federal Road in Danbury and promptly arrested her.

Jones has been charged with four counts of risk of injury to a child, three counts of illegal sexual conduct with a victim under 16 and three counts of sexual assault in the first degree. The judge set Jones' bond at $250,000 dollars. She was also required to meet with a judge prior to her release.

I'll stop short of sharing my opinion on the matter, I don't want that printed in black and white until the end of time. However, there will be no shortage of opinions and I expect they'll come in quick. My inbox will first be filled with notes saying, "I know her", "I went to school with her" or, "I know someone who knows her."

Next, there will be a wide array of unsubstantiated claims about the woman. Finally, people are going to try and find out the identity of the boy. This is not going to be an easy road for the victim or the suspect in this case. Information moves fast, and scandalous information in a small city moves at the speed of light. We spoke about the issue on the Ethan & Lou Show this morning.

A Curious Excursion in an Underground Brookfield Tunnel

Recently, I was having a discussion with a friend of mine, I told this person I'd accessed some caves and tunnels in my hometown of Brewster, NY which is just over the NY/CT State Line. He knows how much I love local history, and saw how excited I was about this journey. He told me there was an area of Brookfield, CT that I needed to see, one that most residents have never seen. He told me about a tunnel, one that was not far away from where we were sitting. I made note of the conversation and bookmarked the destination for a future trip.

Inner Sanctum - Behind the Curtain on Danbury's Mysterious Free Masons

John Arizzi is the sitting Worshipful Master for Danbury’s Union Lodge #40 of the Ancient Free and accepted Masons. Arizzi described his role to me in layman’s terms, saying that in any other organization, he’d be called the President. This position is voted on every year by the group, and Arrizi has held the position multiple times. Arrizi was my tour guide into a world many people never see, the inner sanctum of Danbury's Free Masons.

The Danbury Free Masons meet in a building at 337 Main Street. The building was originally the Meeker mansion. The Meekers were the prominent Danbury family who ran Meeker's Hardware. It's worth noting, that a separate Masonic Lodge is headquartered in the same building, Lodge 39. Lodge 39 is originally from Georgetown, CT but when their member numbers dwindled, they sold their building and moved to Danbury.

All Along the Posh Tower, Glorious $15 Million Connecticut Estate Hits the Market

This home is not a home it’s not an address, it’s 3 full addresses in a gated community, that sits inside a gated community. It’s a playground, a trophy and a showpiece for anyone who can afford the price tag. Here’s how I will do this; the top line will be what I’d say to you, if I was the realtor, and the bottom line will be wiseass commentary for my own sick amusement.
