Little People, Big Impact

With the popularity of ESPN's "The Last Dance" documentary about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls there have been a lot of MEME's and GIF's floating around that feature a photo of Mugsy Bogues guarding MJ. It reminded me what a big deal Mugsy  was and inspired this list. You don't need to be "big" to change the world around you in a big way and these folks are proof of that.

They said it couldn't be done, they said "you will never write an article that includes Winston Churchill and Lil' Wayne at the same time." Boy, were they wrong about me. Look, height, weight, age, sex, race, sexual orientation, none of these things matter when it comes to your legacy. If I've learned anything in 41 years on this Planet it's that being a good person and working hard are the only two things that rate.

I root for the little guy in all ways in life both literally and figuratively but I do have one problem with one short guy and that's Jose Altuve. Give the ring back man, you stink. As a Yankee fan that's the nicest way I can put it. You and your boys cheated a lot and you did it with a smug smile on your face, not cool bro.
