LISTEN: Eddie Money/America Summer Road Trip Mashup

Pack your bags, we're leavin' tonight for the west coast and Eddie Money's drivin'!

Mashups are hit or miss. I guess you could say that they're a lot like mash potatoes. Prepared just right with just the right mix of ingredients and it's an experience you'll want to go back to again and again. Sometimes, however, what's on the menu doesn't always live up to its promise. Most mashups are a watered down, sloppy mess and need to go straight in the trash bin with the soggy hamburger buns. Not so with this recent mashup posted by YouTuber Brooks K. Now this is a very cool mashup that comes along at just the right time - summer time.

This mashup takes the vocal track from Eddie Money's "Two Tickets To Paradise" and the music from America's "Ventura Highway" and the result is so good you will wanna jump in the car, roll down the windows and hit the open road:

The first person to comment on the video had a good suggestion for a song title - "Two Tickets To Ventura Highway". I like it.

As with every great song this gem doesn't seem to last long enough (kinda like summer vacation) so let's extend it a little bit longer and roll out the two original tracks for some added summertime listening:
