‘Jeepers Creepers’ Star + Fairfield Native Wins Cash for Paul Newman Charity
Almost one year ago actor and Fairfield, Connecticut native helped win big money for Paul Newman's 'Hole In The Wall Gang' Camp. The TV show was Celebrity Family Feud and Justin Long with his team 'The Long Shorties', beat Team Kevin Smith and won the cash in the final round.

The episode of Celebrity Family Feud first aired on Sunday Night, August 15, 2021 and as per custom, each team plays for specific charities. The Long Shorties were made up of Justin, his brother Christian, Diana Gettinger, James Duffy, and Rich Long who were playing to raise money for The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp. Team Kevin Smith consisted of Smith, Jason Mewes, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, Marc Bernardin, and Ralph Garman. The Smith charity of choice was St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Both great causes, with The Wall Gang Camp, founded by Paul Newman located in Ashford, Connecticut.
As we know, Justin Long is a Fairfield native with an extensive film career of over 23 years. His films include Jeepers Creepers, Dodgeball, Live Hard or Die Hard, Alvin And The Chipmunks, Pineapple Express, Funny People, and the list goes on. Most recently, he has been involved with Clerks III, which is probably why this episode of Celebrity Family Feud is with Kevin Smith. I don't know, just speculating. We have included the 4:27 YouTube video of the show's final segment where Team Long Shorties gets a chance at $25,000. Brother Christian stumbles out of the gate, but Justin is able to recover quite nicely.
Justin has been involved in a lot of charity work and is out currently raising money for Feeding America. On July 6, he paid a visit to an interesting place in Rolla, Missouri...
My thanks to Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store in Rolla, Missouri for the Facebook convo and pic.
Justin seems like a super cool guy and is from Fairfield, not far from here. I am not a big fan of Family Feud, so my thanks to Jen NY and FamilyFeud on YouTube for the heads up on this one. We won't get into the nuances as to why I am not a big fan, maybe some other time. Check out the pics and thanks for reading. If you see Justin Long out on the road, say "hi" for us.
