I’m Done With the Super Hero Movies

I read comics when I was a kid. I like them, I was not a crazed fan but I enjoyed them. I loved the Michael Keaton Batman movies, I loved the Christian Bale Batman movies. I was all in and can quote them all. I found Iron Man entertaining all the way around. Then they just kept making them. The studios are making money on them so they are just gonna keep going.

I don't wanna see the new Wonder Woman movie. I don't want to see every superhero versus every superhero movie. I don't want to know what Blue Beetle versus Aquaman looks like. I just don't care.

I know I am in the minority on this one but whatever. The fact is a good long break between these films gives an opportunity to look at these fantasy worlds with a fresh perspective which is why I think the Christian Bale Batman movies were so good. There was both a hunger for the story again and a new look from Christopher Nolan.

I will say that I do need to put a trip to Comic-Con on my bucket list. There are some fantasies getting worked out there if you know what I mean.
