Why are the worst commercials the most memorable? Nowadays, all you see are celebrity endorsements, or slick, million-dollar productions. I was talking with Mrs. Large, and she brought up Good Ole Tom. Remember his spots? I think he's still advertising! Let me refresh your memory:

I started thinking back about all the offbeat, bad, or inventively crazy advertising that I've seen here in Connecticut over the years. Here are a few commercials that I still can't get out of my head. First, probably the craziest ad ever thought up, from the Bedding Barn:

If you grew up in the glorious 80s, this will bring you back to that beautiful decade. Who can forget Crazy Eddie's? Jerry Carroll's voice and intense delivery will forever be burned into our brains.

Keeping it in the 80s, once you see and hear this next one, you'll want to fall asleep to the "Lullaby of Old Broadway" I always wanted to be served dinner from the huge flaming dishes blazing away in this commercial:

Last one: Catskill Game Farm! I was so excited to go there as a kid. Walking into those enclosures and seeing all of those beautiful animals. This commercial really sends you back:

I know there are hundreds that I must have missed, what were some of your favorites?
