It's the end of an ERA......

For the first time in 45 years, the studios of I-95, The Home of Rock & Roll, will be quiet.

No microphones on.
No songs queued up.
No laughter echoes down the hallways.

But if these walls could talk… wow. They’d tell stories of lifelong friendships, marriages, unforgettable moments, busted chops, big wins, tough days, and more laughs than should probably be allowed in a professional setting.
Voices that became part of your daily routine. Coworkers who turned into family. Memories that don’t fade just because the lights go off.
And just to be clear — THIS IS NOT GOODBYE!
We’ll still be around, still bustin’ chops, still playing the rock… we've packed everything up and we're moving to our new studios overlooking Danbury’s CityCenter Green. New view. Same attitude. Same music. Same people.

Mike Karolyi - Ethan, you said it perfectly, a radio station is not a building, it’s the connection between listener and on-air personality. You Are the foundation, brick and mortar that has kept The Home of Rock and Roll connected. I’m honored to know you, Lou Milano, Large DaveTom, and to be part of the next chapter but man if those walls could talk. That would be on heck of a radio show.

Gerolynn F.L. - My husband and I have been listening to I95 fm since forever. I met my husband at the age of 15 and growing up in Norwalk our hang out was at Calf Pasture Beach and I95 was always blaring. It may be the end of an era but, now …… you start a brand new one. I’m really excited for all of you as I think this will be a much needed and positive change for you all. I guess we won’t be seeing Lou riding down the road anymore in his yellow submarine. Best wishes always. Thank you for being apart of our lives and continue to. You’re all the best.

Radio isn’t a building. It’s the connection. And that's not going anywhere.
Here’s to 45 unforgettable years in Brookfield, with a huge thank-you to each and every listener. The next chapter begins - louder, brighter, and still very much on the air. We asked you to send us your I-95 memories, and you came through bigtime. Thank you from all of us!! CityCenter Danbury, here we come!

Basil ZWell said Ethan. Well said! Here's to the really memorable 10 years I was lucky enough to work with you, and the many colorful characters that walked through those doors each day. So many stories came from my time at "The Home of Rock and Roll"! Best wishes to all, including the hundreds of thousands of people who tuned in and still tune in on a regular basis!

John R.I was a listener to Wine radio back when 95 fm was the same as 95 am. My buddy back then in 5th grade was Ethan's neighbor, mowed his lawn if I remember right and I'd get the inside scoop of Ethan's life outside radio. When I was a little older I got to go inside the transmitter hut and to fix the alarm system, unfortunately never got to see the studio. Good luck on your new place!

Bob A (I-95 Account Exec) -  Well said Ethan. I-95 is more than a radio station. It’s a vibe, a state of mind, and a very significant part of the community. And Ethan, you are at the core of it all. Many very talented people have come and gone through those studios, offices and halls. But you Ethan are the single constant. Here’s to you I-95, may you rock on, with a rich heritage, a sense of pride on what you have accomplished in the past and what will be in the future. And always keep the volume up to 11.
