I-95 Exclusive: Sandra Bernhard Opens Up About Severance Fan Theories
Actress, comedian, and cultural icon Sandra Bernhard is hitting the road with her "Shapes and Forms" tour, and we’re lucky enough to catch her ahead of her one-night performance at the Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill, NY, on Thursday, April 24th.

You’ve seen her recently in the gripping finale of Severance, caught her in Disney's Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and perhaps binged Survival of the Thickest on Netflix. We recently spoke to Sandra on the I-95 Morning Show, and this was our favorite moment from the conversation.
Lou: Let's start with Severance. You're not on the "it-show" right now, you're not on a popular show, you're on a show that is a cultural phenomenon and you were placed right in the thick of it. This is maybe one of the most talked-about episodes of TV since the Sopranos series finale.
Sandra: "I know it's amazing. When Ben Stiller called me last year and asked if I wanted to do the show, I was like, 'Yeah, of course I want to do the show!' But you never know the impact something will have when you're shooting it and in the midst of it. You know, it was a year ago when I shot those scenes, and then they put it all together. There are so many moving parts that go into producing a show like that, so you just don't know. Then, boom, it's out, and people are going insane. It's like, 'Wow, I got really lucky being a part of that incredible experience.'"
Lou: One of the weird thing about it, I follow all of the fan threads now on TikTok and Youtube, and some of the theories that come out about the show I think are more involved and have more thought put into them than probably the show does on some level. I think people are digging where there isn't a place to dig.
Sandra: "Ha, well I think that has just become a thing. People must just have a lot of time on their hands. I mean, I finish projects, move on to my next thing, and I'm always writing and on the road. I don't really dive too deep into all of that stuff, but when I hear about it, I'm like, 'What!?' It boggles my mind in a certain way."
