Huntington's Disease has no cure and is always fatal. If you know a family member or friend with HD, there's a way you can help.

This Saturday, June 2 is 'The Fred Maher's Family Journey and 13th Annual Benefit Dinner' to help find a cure for this fatal genetic disorder. The benefit dinner will be held at the Bantam Fire Department from 5:30 until 9:30pm.

I personally know members of this wonderful family and the anguish and heartache they've been through. Huntington's Disease causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain according to hdsa.org. Every child with a parent with HD has 50/50 chance of carrying the faulty gene.

If you have a friend or family member who has Huntington's Disease or has that 50/50 chance of acquiring HD, please consider attending 'The 13th Annual Benefit Dinner' to eradicate HD in our lifetime. This flyer has all information you need to know.
