Have a Look at the Cheapest House On the Market in Connecticut
Word came out this week that even a 'Starter Home' in the more desirable areas of Connecticut can cost upwards of a million dollars. If you want to live in my hometown, the cheapest house in all of Connecticut is on the market right now for under 30 grand.
The cheapest house in Connecticut, as of today on Zillow.com, is 353A Hayden Hill Road, in Torrington. The 1.1 acre, 945 square foot, 3 bedroom house is located in the quiet Northern end of Torrington, not far away from two of Torrington's biggest attractions - Burr pond, and Zach & Lou's BBQ. As you can imagine, it will not be easy to transform this $30,000 property into something that you would actually want to live in, but the possibilities are there. Take a look around -
