All eyes are on the Danbury Ice Arena as the Federal Hockey League's new team bursts into its first season with a scrappy rabbit with a chipped tooth for a logo, a name that alludes to winning moves and Danbury's proud history — and players determined to build on the excitement of the new season.

"We have a very strong roster this season and we have a good mix of older players who have won before and who know what it takes to win at that level," player/coach Nicola Levesque said in a Hat Tricks interview. "We also have younger players coming in that are hungry to prove that they can play at that level."

The whole game experience is receiving an upgrade, from concessions and family-friendly features to business partnerships with local vendors. So if you haven't been to a game yet, you should definitely grab tickets for the whole family. Here are some of the players you'll want to keep an eye on this season:

Nicola Levesque

Why He's Hot: He's a talented scorer, sinking 6 points in his first six games. He also won the FPHL Commissioner's Cup in 2018 with the Watertown Wolves and is a career point-per-game player in the FPHL, with 58 points in 56 games played.

Phil Bronner

Role: Alternate captain
Birthday: May 29, 1989
Hometown: Wilbraham, MA
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 220 lbs.
Why He's Hot: After winning the 2015 FHL championship with the Watertown Wolves, he's hungry for another championship. He kicked off the season scoring 5 points in 6 games.

Dillon Kelley

Role: Goaltender
Birthday: September 2, 1994
Hometown: Petoskey, MI
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 219 lbs.
Why He's Hot: After playing in the SPHL last year for the Fayetteville Marksmen, he made 88 saves in his first two games with the team and earned the first win in Hat Tricks history.
