Connecticut Town Named a Most Extravagant Destination in a Shocking Twist of Events

Greenwich you say? Our Greenwich? Like in Greenwich Connecticut?

I'm shocked! Greenwich was just named as one of the most extravagant vacation destinations in the world. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely town, but I'm taking a flight to Bora, Bora if I can.

The travel web site Expedia.com has put Greenwich on its new list of the 26 most extravagant vacations. We're talking about vacations ALL around the world. Not only does Greenwich make the list, it ranks #10. It ranks above Bora, Bora, which comes in at #11. I kid you not.

The site lists the Delamar Hotel - which is pictured above, as well as the Tamarack Country Club and other attractions for the wealthy as the reason for Greenwich's inclusion.

We all know that Winter in New England can be brutal. With that thought in mind, I decided if I'm going to freeze my lady parts off, I'm taking a trip to #9 on the list at expedia.com which is St.Moritz, Switzerland.

Expedia.com says:

Who knew I could get such a good time right down the road apiece. They do call it the "Gold Coast" after all. That, right there, should have clued me in.
