Goose Fever Takes Over Connecticut With New Tune Royal
It's Goose fever in Connecticut this week, and we're not just talking about the Monitor lizard that has captivated the quiet corner. Today a Goose with Fairfield County roots has just released their new single.
Goose the band has been making beautiful music since forming in Wilton, Connecticut just over 10 years ago in 2014. Over the past decade they've been honing their craft across the country and around here they've played a few shows at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven. Now in 2025, Goose has gained the attention of the world and recently headlined their first show at the world's most famous arena - Madison Square Garden - in New York City and sold it out.
Can't Get Enough Goose? Today is Your Lucky Day - New Music
I just opened up my email and discovered that Goose has released their new single, it's called 'Royal', check it out -
Rick Mitarotunda, Peter Anspach, Cotter Ellis, and Trevor Weeks are the men behind Goose, and the roots of the band begin in Wilton around 2012. The guys attended Berklee in Boston, where true musicians go to learn, and by 2014 they made it official and started playing around Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. According to wikipedia.com, within 5 years Goose was playing major music festivals, and from then up until now they've played Red Rocks, Mohegan Sun Arena, Newport Folk Festival, Radio City Music Hall, and as of June 28, 2025 - The Garden.

Can't get enough? Goose has just announced their 12th annual Goosemas Celebration has been set for December 12-13, 2025 at Amica Mutual Pavillion in Providence. Do I smell a future Goosemas at the newly renovated People's Bank Arena in Hartford in the future?
