Foo Fighters Are Coming to Connecticut for a Special One-Night Show
According to Finding Connecticut, the Foo Fighters are making a stop in Bridgeport for a special one-off concert before kicking off their big summer stadium tour.
The band will take the stage at Total Mortgage Arena on April 28, and fans in Connecticut are already buzzing about it. This isn’t part of the massive summer run of shows either—it’s more of a standalone warm-up gig, which makes it feel a little more special if you’re lucky enough to grab a ticket.

The show will also feature support from the psychedelic garage rock band Frankie and the Witch Fingers, adding a little extra edge to the lineup for the night.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 20 at 10 a.m., with presale opportunities available through the band’s official website.
Personally, I’m pretty pumped about this one. The Foo Fighters have always been one of my favorite bands. I’ve loved them since The Colour and the Shape dropped back in 1997. And yes, I realize that’s such a fan thing to say—like, “Oh yeah? I liked them first! But that album was huge for a lot of us, and it’s still packed with songs that hold up almost 30 years later.

The Bridgeport show is happening just a few days after the band releases their upcoming 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy, which is scheduled to drop on April 24 through Roswell Records and RCA Records.
The album’s title track was released as the lead single in February and marks the band’s first new music of 2026. It’s got that classic Foo Fighters sound—loud guitars, a driving rhythm, and Dave Grohl doing what Dave Grohl does best.
If you’re a Connecticut rock fan, this is going to be one of those shows people talk about for a while.
I won’t be there because I’m broke—shocking, I know. But if you do end up going, make sure you take some pictures and send them in through the I-95 Rock Mobile app. We’d love the chance to live vicariously through you.
