Five Connecticut Grocery Stores Serving Superior Prepared Meals
Some of my favorite meals recently have been made by grocery store employees. It's so convenient, fried chicken, a pizza, even seafood, right next to your groceries. We've all choked down a gas station hot dog, or a slice of cardboard pizza in desperation, but I've eaten the best meals recently from five local supermarkets.
There are many nights where I don't feel like cooking, and I don't like buying food prepared by a 16 year old on their first day. I never buy hot, prepared food at Stop & Shop or Shop Rite, way too many inconsistencies over the years. In my opinion, five smaller grocery stores around here hired excellent cooks and chefs, and use superior ingredients.
