Watching this is better than starring out the window, waiting, as a Nor'easter potentially bares down on us on the first day of Spring!

We've had an incredibly mild Winter. Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early Spring. What are we expecting on the first day of that early Spring? A freakin Nor'easter. Rather than being on the look-out for that, let's enjoy something amazing about nature.

The WashingtonPost.com announced this morning that the first of two eaglets hatched at the National Arboretum. But, there are two eggs! The second one is expected to hatch sometime this weekend. You can follow the first one in it's nest and watch for the arrival of number two. A 24-hour-a-day "eagle cam" has been set up over the nest of "Mr. President" and "The First Lady." They're the first set of eagles to set up a nest in the nation's capital since 1947.

You can even switch from the camera A angle to the camera B angle. Eagle fans can watch and wait for the next hatching at dceaglecam-dot-eagles-dot-org.

I'll take this over waiting for a snow storm any day!
