Connecticut is best known throughout the country for taxing people through the asphalt and not replacing chunks of asphalt should they jar loose. The Nutmeg State is also a hit factory with musical success stories in almost every sub-genre in Rock N' Roll. These are some of CT's famous faces in music:

Famous Musicians From CT

You could make a list of CT notables that would be never ending. The success stories that were not born here, did not grow up here, definitely bought a house here after making their dough. Why wouldn't you? Someone who lives here should be able to afford it and enjoy it for what it is, a really pretty overpriced place to spend Christmas.

Maybe we could organize a Christmas TV special with all the people who leave LA for a "White Christmas." Ethan and Lou present: "All the famous people that live here for two weeks out of the year, can afford to pay the taxes, all while keeping their homes shuddered the rest of the year." Sure it's a little wordy but I think we have a ratings bonanza on our hands. Special performances by:

  • John Mayer
  • Mike Tyson
  • 50 Cent
  • Liz Phair
  • Ned Lamont
  • Michael Bolton

Don't miss the evening's finale event, a rake fight in the snow between the Real Housewives and NY & NJ. Ethan and Lou present: "All the famous people that live here for two weeks out of the year, can afford to pay the taxes, all while keeping their homes shuddered the rest of the year." This special TV event airs 9 EST on the VICE Network, hosted by Ethan & Lou with special guest Frank Stallone.

P.S. When Mayer's debut album "Room for Squares" hit radio in 2001, I was working for a Hot AC station playing his songs every night and I had a feeling then that he was destined for crossover success. You could tell lyrically he was already head and shoulders above his pop peers. What he's become over the years, I could have never envisioned. He's a special artist and his songs have become important to so many people, myself included.
