Experts Share Proof of the ‘Great American Sex Drought’

Data shows that Americans that are not having sex has reached an all-time high.

According to the Washington Post, general data from the 2018 General Social Survey shows that Americans overall are trending down when it comes to lovemaking. The cause for the dip is that 23% of the adults who did not have sex at all last year many of them were 20-something men.

Fueling the Great American Sex Drought are millions of Americans like myself who are 60 and older. From 1996 to 2018, the 60-plus age demographic has climbed from 18% to 26% of the population according to the survey. Another staggering statistic that's causing the sexual activity downturn is the portion of Americans ages 18 to 29 who reported having no sex in the past year which has more than doubled between 2008 and 2018 to 23%!
