Exclusive: Kathy Griffin Annoyed by the Breathing of the I-95 Morning Show Crew
Kathy Griffin is a two-time Emmy and Grammy award-winning comedian known for her groundbreaking career in television, stand-up, and publishing. Kathy won a Grammy for Best Comedy Album with Kathy Griffin: Calm Down Gurrl, and her Bravo series Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List won 2 Emmys. She’s also known for her roles on Suddenly Susan, Seinfeld, Law & Order: SVU, and Glee.

Now Griffin has returned with a new stand-up tour called My Life On The PTSD List which is making a stop at The Garde Arts Center in New London, CT, on March 12th. We got a chance to chat with Kathy just before she rolled into town, and this was our favorite moment from the interview.
Lou: Yeah, this "My Life on the PTSD Tour" that is really pretty literal. You had lung cancer that resulted in the removal of half your lung. You got divorced, addiction to pills which led to a suicide attempt. You lost your mother and you were investigated by the U.S. Government. What the hell?
Kathy: "I mean, what's next? I just want to be on the D-list where I belong. I do have complex PTSD—can you blame me? I talk about it, I make fun of it. I also have half a lung on my left side, and I don’t appreciate hearing all of your proud, two-lunged breathing, flaunting it in my face right now!"
