Exclusive Insight: Howie Mandel Tells CT Why He Does Not Want to Hear a Joke
Howie Mandel recently came through Connecticut with a one-night stand, performing at the legendary Mohegan Sun Arena.

Prior to the show, we had the opportunity to chat with the comedy titan on the Friday (10/18/24) edition of the I-95 Morning Show. You can listen to the complete interview at the bottom of the page, but these are a few of our favorite moments.
Lou: I know you're a germaphobe and you like your personal space so I wrote some things down that annoy me about people and I wanted to share them with you and see how you feel about them, if that is OK?
Howie: "Yes, go ahead. Hopefully the number one thing isn't people who smell their fingers."
Lou: No it's not. When people say you gotta see this and they try and show you a video on their phone, how do you feel about that?
Howie: "I don't like it when people say, 'Do you want to hear a joke?' The truth is that I don't. I prefer spending my time sharing things with you; I don't want to hear jokes or watch videos. You want to hear something really funny? No. If something truly funny happens, I'll laugh and enjoy it, but don’t check with me. Let me be the judge of what’s really funny. It’s kind of the same thing."
