We had an opportunity to chat with Bret just before he got to town and this was our favorite moment.

Lou: I might have some Bret Michaels news to break to Bret Michaels. Just yesterday, Ultimate Classic Rock which is actually part of our company, put out the list of the Top 15 Hair Metal Front Men of all-time. I will tell you, you're on the list and I wonder if you'll guess what number you are?

Bret: "Oh man, first of all, I'm honored to be on it; that's a great start! How about this—I’ll let you say it. Obviously, you know where you want to be, right? Remember Ricky Bobby? You know, 'If you ain't first, you're last'? I don't want to go with that slogan, though, so I'm not going to curse myself. I'm superstitious, so I'll just let you throw it out there. Please, can I land somewhere in the Top 10-ish?"

Lou: You are lucky number 7 Bret Michaels, how's that?

Bret: "Boo-Yah! See if I would have said it, I would have cursed it. You gave me lucky number 7 and I will take it with a swish!"

Bret went on to sing the praises of the rest of the front men on the list, here everything he had to say in our complete interview below.

Part 1 - Bret explains what he, Dee Snider and Mark McGrath have in common.

Part 2 - Bret sings the praises of the other members of the Ultimate Classic Rock Top 15 list.

Part 3 - Since Michaels is a huge NFL fan we asked him his thoughts on the Super Bowl and whether he'll attend.

There's Bret and I backstage at the Ridgefield Playhouse years ago.
