Epic Karen Showdown at Connecticut Movie Theater Makes Me Want to Stay Home
The internet is filled with countless hilarious showdowns, and while I try to keep up, sometimes I miss a few. I hope you'll forgive me for being a month late on this one. This "Karen" incident unfolded at a movie theater in Manchester, Connecticut, over an assigned seat.
The video was posted on TikTok by @erin.walton5 on July 21, 2024, with the caption:

The clip got so much attention that it was picked up by TMZ that week.
On the I-95 Morning Show, we have a saying: "Inside good, outside bad." What we mean is that sometimes it's simply not worth leaving the house. Things have become so bizarre and volatile out there that you need to be mentally prepared for chaos every time you step outside.
When I venture beyond work, I’m constantly on edge, expecting the next disaster around every corner—and that's no way to live. I see it like this: I'm the king of my castle at home, surrounded by my comforts. But once I step outside, all bets are off, and I could encounter grown-ups throwing punches at a movie theater.
No thanks—I’d rather stay in, watch something on Amazon Prime, make some mozzarella sticks in the air fryer, and call it a day.

I say thoughts and prayers to all of us, it's wild times out there.
