Ace Endico Restaurant Spotlight: Back to School, Back to Basics with Local Diners

Welcome to the latest edition of the Ace Endico Restaurant Spotlight, where we feature a new list of local restaurants each month to showcase some of the great eateries Connecticut has to offer.

As we settle into the new school year, we're going to highlight some of the great diners your family might love (especially when you'd like a night off cooking):

1) Elmer’s Diner

Elmer's is open 24 hours daily, so you can take advantage of their early bird specials or eat great even late. They're available on Doordash, GrubHub, UberEats and VroomServiceNow.com, too.

2) Orem's Diner

With a rich local history, Orem's Diner serves up classic and new favorites, including breakfast served all day, avocado toast, Greek sandwiches, and Italian specialties. They offer homemade cheesecake and assorted pies, too!

3) Angel's Deli

Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, Angel's Deli serves up mouth-watering hot and cold options for breakfast and lunch/dinner.

4) Mill Plain Diner

We highly recommend the hamburger topped with hashbrowns and the poutine. They also offer breakfast all day, traditional diner favorites, and healthier options, including paleo-friendly dishes.

5) Stony Hill Diner

Enjoy comfort food and Greek specials made from scratch and presented with tasty spins. They even use farm-fresh eggs delivered daily!

6) Three Brothers Diner

Located in Camden, Connecticut, Three Brothers Diner is stuffed full of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options — and you can order online or do dine-in, take-out, delivery, or catering. There truly is something for everyone!
