Ahead of his gig, Dice called into the I-95 Morning Show for an extended discussion with the boys and I.

People my age (44) know Andrew Dice Clay for his record setting arena tours and comedy albums like "Face Down A-- Up" but a younger generation is watching a comedian become a social media sensation. Dice has a new life pranking people on the streets of NYC and sharing it to Instagram and Tik Tok.

Dice has dozens of popular videos on Insta and Tik Tok where he approaches strangers and asks if they want a selfie with him, as if they are waiting fans. We asked Dice about this and he was eager to talk about the game.

Everyday Dice, your Instagram provides us with the biggest laughs of the day. Dice walks around Manhattan, Central Park saying, "are you the one that wanted the picture with the famous face?" Some of these people have no idea who he is and the reactions are priceless.

"I love when I get to go to other cities too because you know just hearing the different accents, like Midwesterners, southern people. When I come over and I'm like are you the one they said wanted the picture? And they're looking at you like you got three heads on. Thar's my favorite part, like I want to know who said it. Who knew it was gonna take on this kind of life, you know what I mean? Like I've always filmed things, I've always been into you know when it was VHS and then the 8 millimeter, you know the tapes kept getting smaller but know with the phone I at least get the satisfaction of showing it to people. But who knew it was going to become like an internet sensation?"

No matter how much the world changes, Dice manages to stay relevant and there is evidence of that everywhere. Last week he dropped by a Bill Burr show and got asked to perform.

"Like a week ago I was with Bill Burr up at the Prudential Center in Newark and it was insanity and he's something else. You know, there aren't too many guys like that, that want to put somebody like me up in front of them. But, you know Bill originally got into comedy when he saw me, he talked about it on his podcast a week ago and he said, originally I was in the second to last row at the Boston Centrum watching Dice on stage and you know that's what made him start doing stand-up. He was very excited, he got right in my face when I came, I just came there to see the show and he got right in my face with this big smiling going, you're gonna do some time right? I never go to comedy shows especially giant arena shows and I was like even a little taken back and I was like alright get your head together. But, the minute I felt the crowd I could've done two hours."

Dice is no longer a spring chicken and while he knows that, he says he's not giving into the aging process mentally.

"You know, when you're getting a little up there, like I don't act like a senior citizen. Like you said, I'm in the street I'm harassing people. I'm still pumping you know and people are playing pinnacle and you know, pickleball and I'm like really? You don't want to feel old but look what you're doing to yourself.  Everybody with the bucket list, I go nuts on stage with the s---. I can't handle it like I won't have older friends because all they talk about is their medical problems...oh I gotta get a little cancer removed, I go don't ever call me again. You know, I just can't hear it anymore you know I talk to a friend I want to laugh on the phone and he's talking about diabetes. I got my own problems who care what you're going through, it's time to end the friendship."

Dice is also busy keeping up with current events, during our discussion he referenced the woman who was kicked off a plane after a tirade about a passenger she thought wasn't real.

"Look what goes on with the planes, the other day a lady is seeing a monster in the back of the plane, ya know? C'mon sit down and relax."

It's at this point the interview stopped being an interview and became a hilarious discussion. I told Dice this plane incident can play as a great bit for him. I told Dice the plane incident would have been better if the "fake person" she was running from, turned out to be him asking if she wanted a picture with the famous face.

Lastly, I had to know which Hollywood actress blew Dice away with her beauty. He mentioned that they're all beautiful, he said he loves the work of Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts and then had some difficulty with a third name.

"You know it really takes a lot to be able to do that stuff. What's her name...with the toilet plunger lips?

Ridgefield Playhouse Exec Shares Revealing Tales About Richards and More

The Ridgefield Playhouse and I-95 have had a longstanding and fruitful business relationship. The Playhouse, it's leadership and staff have always been welcoming to us and we like to think we've been good to them as well.

I've been doing the I-95 Morning Show for 15 years and in that time I've had so many wonderful memories in that building. We performed our Ethan and Lou 10 year Anniversary concert there, I've met countless celebrities at the Playhouse and have attended many of their shows.

Many of the top flight guests we've booked on the I-95 Morning Show have been courtesy of our association with the Playhouse. But it wasn't just the rock stars that got invited to our studio, the people behind the curtain have always been regular guests on our shows.

Jared Shahid is the new Managing Director at the Ridgefield Playhouse but not a new face to us. Ethan and I have hung with him backstage, we've had him in the studio and he and I even worked on a TV project together.

Jared is one of the best storytellers I know so we were delighted to invite him back on the show. Recently, Shahid joined us on the the I-95 Morning Show with Ethan, Lou & Dave. Whenever he comes in, he brings tickets and stories for our audience. These are some of the amazing behind the scenes tales he shared with us on Thursday (5/25/23).

All Connecticut People Have at Least One of These 13 Things

Connecticut is a complex place with layers of issues. Our happiness mixes with our pain to create a Nutmeg stew that tastes like confusion. I can't sit here and say everyone in CT has all thirteen of these things. However, I can say everyone in CT has at least one of these 13 things.
