Ian Bick is a Danbury native who has become infamous in our city.

The story started out great, at just 19 years old Bick was the owner/operator of Tuxedo Junction. By the time he was 21 years old, Ian Bick was a felon. He was convicted of wire fraud and money laundering in 2016, he served time in federal prison and was released in 2019.

Prosecutors say Bick lured in local investors and ended up using their money to pay for his lavish lifestyle rather than using it for concert promotion at Tuxdeo Junction. He later covered losses with new investment dollars.

Back in April of 2021, Ian Bick's story was featured in the HBO Max Docu-Series "Generation Hustle." We spoke to Ian when he was promoting the documentary, asked about his crimes and I wrote a few articles about him.

Danbury Area Folks Share Their NFL Fandom for Playoffs

I am an Oakland/LA/Las Vegas Raiders fan, and have been since I was a kid and I'm often outnumbered in NFL conversations, but not completely alone. In the NFL, there are fans of all kinds in every city in America.

Before the Raiders losing playoff game against the Bengals last weekend, I reached out to my friends who are Raiders fans and asked them to send me a photo of them wearing a jersey or celebrating the team in some way. I had a great response and it kicked off a fun sports conversation but it was for Raiders fans only.

I wanted to give the same opportunity to all NFL fans in the Greater-Danbury area, whether their team was in the playoffs or not. I sent out the call on my radio show and on social media and these are the responses I got back.

Danbury Area Residents Share Stunning Fall Sunset Photos for 2021

What is easier than driving all over the Danbury area collecting photos at sunset? Delegating that task, that is exactly what I did recently. I asked our Ethan and Lou Radio Show (I-95) listeners to submit the best photo they took of a 2021 fall sunset. I put the request out on our Facebook page and in an alert on the I-95 Rock Mobile app. These are some of the many submissions I got back and they are stunning looks at sunsets in the Greater-Danbury area.
