Danbury Tattoo Shop Celebrates 5th Anniversary With Child Cancer Charity Event
Danbury Tattoo invites you to get inked for the cause. Help support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
One of the most amazing and noble organizations in this country is the incredible St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and their ongoing quest to cure childhood cancer. What they do for children and their families is nothing short of amazing.
Danny Thomas officially opened St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on February 4, 1962, with the unveiling of the statue of St. Jude Thaddeus. Since that day, they have been dedicated to making sure that families never get a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
It can only be called unfathomable to receive the news that your child has cancer. What St. Jude gives in the way of hope and comfort is incredible. But the money has to come from somewhere, and that's where you come in. Fundraising is a big part of supporting the organization.
How about getting inked for the cause. I found this posting on the Facebook page for Danbury Tattoo:
Saturday, October 7th, we will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary. Come down to the shop for select $40 tattoos from 10-9! All proceeds from tattoo and gift certificate sales will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research. We hope to see you there!
Danbury Tattoo is located on 68 Mill Plain Road. Congrats to them on their 5th Anniversary, and for making St. Jude part of the day.
