DPD posted another reminder banner to the Department's Facebook page on Tuesday (9/27/22) with the following header:
WE ARE HIRING!
The deadline to apply is in ONE WEEK October 3, 2022 at 11:59PM.
If you are seeking more information, DPD says you can find your answers on their app. They are looking to hire entry level officers who a valid CHIP card. You can get CHIP certified by locating a testing center in your area, taking the test and passing. The next few CHIP tests are listed as after the deadline for this hire, but if you ARE interested at all, you should sign up for the next one.
Sure, you will miss this particular round of hires, but there will always be another one. Plus, you still need your chip certification to be eligible for hiring in any other department in the State of CT.
The next CHIP test is listed for Bridgeport, CT's Harding High School on Monday, October 17th, you can register for the test here. To apply for this round of hires, you also need a passing test on the CT Police Chiefs Association Exam. Questions can also be answered by phone or e-mail at the City of Danbury Human Resources Department 203-797-4598 or email humanresources@danbury-ct.gov
Don't forget, October 3 is this Monday, so if you have the items you need to get going, take a few minutes and complete your application. They would not be reminding people if the positions were all filled. This could change your life.
We talked about this on the Ethan, Lou and Large Dave Show Friday (9/30/22). Listen Below
Good luck, we need more officers in Danbury and beyond. I got to be part of a DPD recruitment ad a few years back and I was happy and proud to do it.
4 Things CT Residents Should Know if They Love to be Naked
According to World Population Review, the State of CT Defines it's clothing laws in the following way:
Public indecency (Class B misdemeanor): A person is guilty of public indecency when he performs any of the following in a public place: 1) An act of sexual intercourse as defined in subdivision (2) of section 53a-65; or (2) a lewd exposure of the body with the intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of the person; or (3) a lewd fondling or caress of the body of another person. "Public place" means any place where the conduct may be expected to be viewed by others.
But that is boring and difficult to understand so I came up with four more things CT residents should know if they love to be naked.
