We spoke to Danbury Mayor Roberto Alves about the news on the Thursday (2/272/25) edition of the I-95 Morning Show and this is what he had to say.
Lou: Get this, it happened again! WalletHub just released their annual list of the most diverse cities in the United States, and Danbury made the Top 10—we were number 9! With major cities like NYC, Houston, and Arlington, Texas, we did it again!
Mayor: "Yeah, I think it's awesome. It's a strength, and it's one of the things we highlight all the time. And selfishly, you guys know I love to eat, so I get to enjoy cuisine from all over the world. We need people from everywhere. It's really exciting that Danbury is a microcosm of the world."
Lou: It really is the best part—the food. I feel the same way. You get to try all these amazing things, and there are so many different kinds of restaurants, great food, and diverse opinions from different people.
Mayor: "There you go it's a collective of things so it's really nice."
I realize the featured photo I used is kind of funny because it's not exactly representative of the topic but I keep using the same photos of Roberto. I figured I'd mix it up with a new one that includes Don Wildman (Mysteries at the Museum) and me. We cleaned up nice for the Danbury Museum Gala so why the hell not?
