According to a press release from the Danbury Police Department, 18-year-old Jahki Scott robbed a 15-year-old victim of four pairs of sneakers Monday in the area near Eden Drive. Police say that the victim was there to meet Scott so that he could purchase the sneakers from him. Instead, Scott pulled a gun on him and took the sneakers.

Police tracked Scott down, arrested him, charged him with robbery, and is being held on $25,000 bond.

Listen, these kids today love their sneakers, but are they worth pulling a gun on someone? The sneaker game is out of control. You go to buy the new Jordan's the day they come out, and you are taking your life into your own hands. They are shoes after all. Let's all try and stay calm.

Now that I am a Danbury citizen, I am going to have to start a task force dedicated to shoe related crimes. I am all over this one. Sneaker theft, fights involving sneakers, if it's a criminal act, and involves the foot, it's mine.

Now, let's focus on the obvious here. This is now the best mug shot I have seen all year. He looks like a strung out version of Kid from Kid and Play. I'd be less concerned with what is on my feet, and a little more focused on my ridiculous hairdo. Looks like he has a pug taking a nap on his dome. Get your act together, and cut your hair, young man.
