There's a new online tool to pair up patients who have the Coronavirus with possible clinical drug trials.

The Danbury based company along with their other branch at Research Triangle Park in North Carolina is called 'Iqvia Holdings.' One of their divisions manages clinical trials for drug companies according to an article in the New Canaan Advertiser.

Let me be clear, this article is not about a 'cure' for Covid-19. This article is about hope as scientists from all over the world continue to work endlessly in their search for a cure. But there is some enlightening news to report.

The Federal Drug Administration(FDA) has launched the Coronavirus Treatment Acceleration Program(CTAP) and currently, there are 10 different active drug trials being monitored for Covid-19.

There is a COVID-19 trial matching tool which you will find online at c19trials.com. Through a 10-minute questionnaire, the tool's goal is to match patients according to their patient profiles and geography to a specific drug trial and where those trials are being planned.
