CT State Police: You’d Better Clear Your Car Off
Should you decide not to clean off your car this winter before you hit the road, you could be paying a price.
Has this happened to you? You're on I-84 doing 65mph and the dude in front of you has decided there was no need to clean off the accumulation of ice and snow on his car before his morning commute.
You're traveling at a safe distance behind this dufus when all of a sudden three inches of snow and ice lift off the roof of his car and immediately collides with your windshield placing you in an immediate whiteout situation.
Connecticut State Police are warning drivers they will be enforcing the removal of snow and ice from vehicles that are traveling on Connecticut roads and highways. They recommend you take that extra time to clean off your vehicle before heading out. Not doing so could cost you a $120 ticket.
