Ahead of the show, we spoke with Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti, and this was our favorite moment from the conversation.

Lou: Tell us about Creedmas. It’s a little confusing for me—are you guys doing Christmas music or your music, or a little bit of both, or is it just a clever name?

Mark: “There is absolutely no Christmas music, but if you want to catch some Christmas music, you’ve got to catch the Tremonti Sings Sinatra shows that we just did. We do that every year, but the Creed show—the Creedmas name—is just a clever thing that I think our management came up with, saying it’s a Creed show right around the holidays.”

Lou: In 2026, Creed is going to co-headline The Summer of ’99 Festival out in Chicago at Tinley Park with Limp Bizkit, which is very interesting to folks Dave’s age and mine, in that you guys had a very infamous feud with Limp Bizkit back in the day. I’m assuming this means you’ve worked out any lingering differences?

Mark: “Oh yeah. I mean, that’s like having a fight in the schoolyard when you’re in high school and then, as an adult, thinking about how ridiculous it was. You know, it was just a—I don’t know—Scott says he’s friendly with Fred (Durst), and I’ve done shows with Limp Bizkit with my other band, Tremonti. You know, those guys are perfectly friendly with me and are great guys, so we’re looking forward to it.”
