Could ‘Sex Days’ Boost Productivity at Work in CT? Here’s What You Need to Know
Okay, so after the Super Bowl this past Monday, a lot of us probably thought about calling in sick to recharge a bit. But what if, down the road, we had a legit reason to take a Sex Day instead? Yup, you read that right—there's talk of workplaces offering special days off for sexual wellness.

According to a recent report from Zip Health, companies might start giving employees time off specifically for “intimacy, health, and related needs." Think of it like a sick day, but... for freakin' and smushing.
A survey found that more than 60% of workers are all for the idea of paid or unpaid “sex days.” And get this—half of the people who’ve taken one said it actually boosted their productivity. Almost 20% of Americans even said they'd feel comfortable asking their boss for a “sex day” or “sexual wellness day."
So, the question is: is Connecticut ready to embrace "sex days"? The state already offers paternity leave, and we’ve seen those commercials about the new time-off programs for things like welcoming home military members or caring for a sick family member. These additions are definitely overdue and a step in the right direction. While "sex days" may not be a must, why not continue pushing for more time off when we need it? I mean, we don't need sex days but to hell with that, let's try to get them anyway.
I think it's time we march on Hartford and pretend to be insanely "backed up." We can somehow blame the government and our employers and "take it to the limit" as they say in Jacksonville, FL. Sex days? Who wants in? We can use those days off to get nude and "steal the show."
