Connecticut is not alone, Buffalo chicken dip is the top popular snack in 31 out of 50 states in 2026, and hard-boiled eggs came out on top in 27 states. There were some unique choices across the country, the most popular snack in nine states was chocolate chip cookies, Garlic knots in Colorado, Quesadillas in five states, and Pigs in a blanket in tiny Rhode Island.

Hard-boiled eggs were the most popular healthy snack, followed by Pico de Gallo in 14 states, and Cowboy Caviar in four. I'm surprised that buffalo wing dip has surpassed the real wing.
