Summer 2026 Concert Line-up Is Slowly Taking Shape
Do you still enjoy getting together with 15,000 strangers to enjoy an evening of live music? One of the hottest holiday gifts of my past was concert tickets to a show during the following Summer. So far, Connecticut's 2026 Summer concert lineup is looking razor thin.
I know that the promoters are holding back announcements for the weeks prior to the end of December, but as of today, December 1, 2025, the largest concert venue in Connecticut - Hartford's Xfinity Theatre, has announced two shows for the Summer of 2026 - Machine Gun Kelly is coming on Saturday, June 6, and Riley Green on August 14.

Connecticut's largest indoor concert venue has just emerged from a multimillion dollar renovation, Hartford's People's Bank Arena had Stevie Nicks in the house for the grand re-opening, but Nate Bargatze's Big Dumb Eyes comedy show is the only major event listed on August 6, 2026. Mohegan Sun Arena has scored the only Connecticut dates for the hottest classic rock show of 2026 - Rush will play two shows on October 30 and November 1, but the biggest show of the Summer is Weird Al Yankovic on July 15.
The Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford will host Daniel Tosh and his My First Farewell Tour on Friday, June 12, while Bridgeport's Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater also hosts Weird Al on July 28, Parker McCollum on August 6, and O.A.R. on September 20, 2026. Suffice to say, the biggest shows of 2026 that have been announced so far are the two Rush shows at Mohegan around Halloween 2026. All I want for Christmas is live music, help us Santa.
