Wow! She's beauty and she's grace.

There are a lot of beautiful places around this country. I've been lucky enough to see a handful of them but I still have so much more to go. I'm in awe a lot of the time at some of these states. One thing that I am very thankful to get to do is travel as often as I do. Seeing new places is an ongoing hobby of mine that I hope to continue.

Seeing new places comes with seeing downtowns and what these different cities and towns have to offer. Some states are 10x more beautiful than others, and some have a unique charm to them. I was interested to see Waste Removal USA create a list of the 100 most pristine streets in the U.S. To my surprise, a Connecticut street sat at number 4 on the list.

The first street to make the list was Broughton Street in Savannah, Georgia. Savannah is a new hotspot, so it is no surprise that it sits at the top of the list. S Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado is next, followed by Broad Street in Augusta, Georgia. Next on that list? Main Street in Putnam, Connecticut.

I wasn't expecting that over some of the other streets around Connecitcut, but I am very happy to see Putnam receiving this type of recognition. The article continues to say that it's known as "Connecticut's Best Antiques Town" and that main street is lined with 19th-centruy buildings that are all kept in pristine conditions. They also highlight the variety of things happening on the street including antique shops, boutiques, and local eateries and that it all contributes to Putnam's small-town vibe.

A few other Connecticut streets landed on the list as well. Main Street in Essex came in at number 64 and N Main Street in Kent came in at number 84. I think these are both great choices as well, following the small-town vibe that Putnam has to offer.

This is a very helpful list to keep in my back pocket. I would love to visit so many of these streets while I'm in different states.

If you had to choose a street in Connecticut that you thought was the most pristine, which would you choose?
