We recently had the pleasure of speaking with this incredible actor to celebrate 10 years of Harry Bosch on TV. Here’s our favorite moment from that conversation.

Lou: We're here in Danbury right down the road from your old stomping grounds (New Haven).

Titus: "Yeah, I was born in New Haven. I didn’t live there for long—only a few years when I was a little kid. But my eldest son went to Choate Rosemary Hall, and my other son went to Suffield Academy. I’ve had a home in the Litchfield area for 20 years, which, sadly, I am in the process of leaving. But yeah, man, Nutmegger all the way."

Dave: You're the one that is selling the house next to me in Torrington Titus? I'm so disappointed.

Titus: "Yes, that's me. Yes, between the old steel mill and the crack house, that's me. It's that one."

Lou: You have that sprawling view of Burr Pond?

Titus: "Oh you know, talk about a bucolic setting! It should be on a calendar."

Lou: The reason you were born in New Haven if my research is correct, your dad was an art professor at Yale?

Titus: "That is correct. Yeah, he did his graduate work under Josef Albers, Conrad Marcarelli, and a host of others at Yale—that’s where he did his graduate work. Then, he became a professor there before being whisked away by the University of Pennsylvania, where he became the chair of the Graduate School of Fine Arts at UPenn. But I’m a Bulldog through and through. I always have been, and my late wife was a Yalie. There’s a lot of history there, a lot of family members. So, yeah, I’m Connecticut for life in that way."
